Orchestrators run the software that performs the video processing, contributing their computer's processing power and bandwidth. Delegators are LPT holders who bond their tokens to orchestrators, signaling their trust and earning a portion of the fees in return.

The transaction flow begins when a broadcaster sends a video stream to the Livepeer network for processing. An orchestrator transcodes the video into different formats and bitrates, making it suitable for various devices and connection speeds. This work is then verified by the network, and the orchestrator receives payment in LPT for their services.

New LPT is minted in each round and distributed to stakers and orchestrators who contribute to the network's security and functionality through the Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism.
