Wie funktioniert Mask Network?

As an ERC-20 token, Mask Network operates on the Ethereum blockchain, which uses a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism. This system relies on validators, rather than miners, to confirm transactions and add new blocks to the chain. Validators are chosen to create blocks based on the amount of cryptocurrency they have staked as collateral.

The primary participants in this network are validators and nodes who maintain the network's operation. Validators are responsible for processing transactions and proposing new blocks, for which they receive rewards. Nodes store a copy of the blockchain's data, ensuring its distribution and accessibility across the network.

When a user sends a MASK transaction, it is broadcast to the Ethereum network for validation. Validators then bundle this transaction with others into a new block and propose it to the network. Once other validators attest to the block's validity, it is added to the blockchain, and the transaction is considered final.

As of current data, the circulating supply is also 100,000,000 MASK, which indicates that the entire token supply has been released into the market. This state is often referred to as being fully diluted. The fixed supply model ensures that the token's availability is finite and predictable for all participants in the network.
